FULL TOUR of University Boulevard in Mobile, Alabama. I’ve lived in Mobile Alabama my whole life. Here is an insider’s look at one of Mobile Alabama’s busiest side streets. In this video, I fill you in on all of the details so you can be better prepared and gain some excitement before your move to Mobile Alabama, or the eastern shore.

The University of South Alabama just finished the new Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile. Below is a picture showing just how awesome it is. I can’t wait to see what happens around the city because of this incredible investment. I can’t wait to see it for myself in person, from the comfort of a seat, hopefully in the fall, when it’s not 95° outside.

Here’s another image showing the amazing campus at USA. It has grown so much since it began in 1963. It’s really amazing how much has changed over the years. USA is starting to be a real contender as students make the choice between the University of Alabama and Auburn, as so many do.

I also wanted to share a close-up of the St. Luke’s campus in Mobile, Al. This has seen so much growth in the last few years since moving to the new location. This really is in the heart of Mobile. You can’t find a more convenient school.

No tour is complete without visiting the original location of Foosackly’s in Mobile! Here is where it all began. Here’s a snipet from Wikipedia that shares a bit of their story: “Foosackly’s was co-founded by Will Fusaiotti and Eric Brechtel. The two attended LSU together. Fusaiotti moved to Mobile with his family in 1995 to help his father open a Smoothie King. Fusaiotti and Brechtel had never fried a piece of chicken until the weekend before opening their first location on University Boulevard in Mobile in 2000. The first location opened on April 28, 2000.”

You must swing by for a taste!

Here is Mobile’s only Cook Out location. the former PDQ (RIP) location is now alive and well with a different kind of food. I hear they stay open really late!

When you come to Mobile, make sure and drive down University Blvd. You can catch all of these places over the span of 5 minutes if the traffic is good!
